CREATE - Purchase Order
Notes:
- Purchase Orders without line items are automatically deleted from the system each night during the “Nightly Maintenance” procedures.
- Supplier Purchase Order information can be preset in the Suppliers module located in the Settings area.
Process to Create a Draft Purchase Order:
- Select the “Inventory” area in the green, left-hand side menu.
- This opens the “Inventory” page.
- Select the gray “Purchase Order” button at the top of the page.
- This opens the “Purchase Order” page.
- Select the green “Add PO” button.
- This opens a “Draft” Purchase Order.
- Select the “Supplier” dropdown menu.
- Select the desired “Supplier” name.
- The Supplier’s name and any preset information now appear on the Draft Purchase Order.
- Enter details in the input boxes for “Account #,” “PO Comments,” “Office Notes,” and “Ship To,” as needed.
- Select the blue “Add Product” button.
- This opens the “SELECT PRODUCT” modal.
- Locate the Product to be ordered using the search bar or page search.
- Select the desired Product.
- This returns you to the Draft Purchase Order and adds the selected Product.
- Enter the quantity to be purchased in the “Quantity” input box.
- Add line-item Comments by typing in the “Comments” input box.
Repeat Steps 11 through 17 for each additional Product.
- Select the green “Order” button when finished.
- A modal opens with options to send the Purchase Order to the Supplier.
- Select the preferred sending method.
- The “POST SUCCESSFUL” modal appears.
- Select the green continue button.
- You return to the Purchase Order page where the newly created Purchase Order appears in the Purchase Order List.
