SET UP - Rates

Note:

• VYACARE can apply and track separate and unique Sales Tax Rates for “Supplements”, “Non-supplements” and “Services”.
• Total Sales Tax is rounded to the nearest $0.01.

Steps:

1. Select the “Settings” area in the green, left-hand side menu.
2. The above action takes you to the “Practice Settings” page.
3. In the “Point of Sale” section, select the “Point of Sale” button.
4. The above action takes you to the “Point of Sale” page.
5. Scroll down to the “Sales Tax” section.
6. Select either “Taxable” or “Non-Taxable” for Supplements, Non-Supplements, and Services by selecting the associated button.
7. For “Taxable” items, fill in the corresponding “Tax Rate” by selecting and typing in the input box.
8. Select the blue “Save” button when finished.
