SCHEDULE & CANCEL - Appointment / Patient Portal


Notes:

  • This Article is from the Point of View of the Patient.
  • To view the Patient Portal from the customer's POV, see the "Patient Portal" Article and Video labeled "ACCESS - PRACTICE".
  • Patients can be given the authority to "Set" OR "Request" Patient Appointments in the Portal. These settings are found in the "Calendar" Section.
  • Patients can be given the authority to "Cancel" Patient Appointments in the Portal. These settings are found in the "Calendar" Section.
  • Time slots with existing Appointments will not be shown on the Patient Portal Calendar.

Scheduling Appointments within the Patient Portal

  1. Select “Appointments” in the green, left-hand side menu.
  2. Under "Schedule New Appointment", select the "Service" to be scheduled.
  3. All available days and time slots are shown.
  4. Select the appropriate time slot to set/request your appointment.
  5. This opens the "Appointment" page.
  6. Select the green "Request Appointment" or "Schedule Appointment" button (depending on Calendar Settings). The appointment has been requested/scheduled.

Canceling Appointments within the Patient Portal

  1. Select “Appointments” in the green, left-hand side menu.
  2. Verify the date of the Appointment you wish to cancel.
  3. Under "Action", select the red "Cancel" button.
  4. Select the green "Confirm" button in the "Please Confirm" modal. The selected appointment has been canceled.
