CANCEL - Appointment / Practice
Notes:
- Appointments can be canceled from the "Patients Dashboard" or through the "Calendar".
- Canceled Appointments stay on the "Calendar".
When canceling a Patient Appointment, you have 2 OPTIONS to consider:
OPTION #1 - Cancel from the "Calendar"
- Select the “Calendar” area in the green, left-hand side menu.
- This takes you to the “Calendar” page.
- Select the desired Patient Appointment that requires cancellation.
- This opens an "Appointment" modal.
- Select the "Scheduled" dropdown menu, and choose either "Canceled - Office" or "Canceled - Patient", depending on which is applicable.
- The appointment turns black and is labeled [Canceled - Office] or [Canceled - Patient] accordingly. The Appointment is canceled; no further action needed.
OPTION #2 - Cancel from the "Patient Dashboard"
- Select the “Patients” area in the green, left-hand side menu.
- Select the desired Patient from the "Patient List".
- Select the "Appointments" tab at the top of the "Patient Dashboard".
- This opens the "Appointments" section.
- Select the "Date" range to narrow the search.
- Verify the date of the Appointment to be canceled; the "Status" should be labeled "Scheduled".
- Select the "Service(s)" blue link on the desired Appointment.
- Select the "Status" dropdown menu and choose either "Canceled - Office" or "Canceled - Patient", as applicable.
- Select the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page when completed.
- This action opens the "Calendar" page.
- The Appointment turns black and is labeled [Canceled - Office] or [Canceled - Patient] accordingly. The Appointment is canceled; no further action needed.
